Description

The altitude of this vineyard (at the top of an, already high, vineyard that abuts St Aubin at the top of Le Montrachet) is well-illustrated in this wine. There is white pepper, citrus lime and a well-delineated palate. It was harvested relatively late on 2nd September but nevertheless still very pure, with the suggestion of a clenched fist of mineral fruit. Drink 2027-2040.
