Jasper Morris MW 96-99/100
80% whole bunch vinification, a question of tank size. Additional intensity to the purple colour, and just that little bit more luxurious on the nose. It just grows and grows, then the palate is quite a lot richer, even with chocolate notes, plus some darker pepper. Yet the Cuvée Christiane is brilliantly nuanced, waves of flavour, less delicacy at this stage than the regular Malconsorts, but ultimately a sublime texture. Magical persistence.
