Bright mid-pale cherry. Pure red fruits on the nose. Lightly toned, racy red fruit on the palate. There is elegance, even a bitter complexity, on the finish. Quite classic. 

Drink 2025 - 2030

39 year-old vines located in Etelois, Les Crais, Le Fourneau, Creux Brouillard, Roncevie, and Les Seuvrées.

Notes of wood and menthol are present on the cooler aromas of wild red currant, plum and plenty of sauvage character. Fine-grained tannins on the balanced and youthfully austere finale shape the lilting and relatively refined medium-weight flavours. This well-made effort could also be approached young, but it has the stuffing to repay up to a decade of cellaring.

Drink from 2030 onward

Pretty crimson purple. An attractive fresh fruit. There is plenty on the palate without immense density but an excellent sense of balance. There is enough fruit to cover the oak.
