Description

This vineyard is next door to Meursault. Great herbaceous flavours give the wine a beautiful complexity. Flavours of nettle, grapefruit, green apple and hints of pineapple offer a richness to the wine. This is very well-balanced and will only get better with bottle age. It is impressive and charming.

Mid-lemon. Apple, lemon and little bread dough. Ripe fruit on the palate with baked apple too. Salty finish.

The vines are located at the top of the vineyard, planted in 1976. A pale green tint to the colour. Rather an attractive gently perfumed bouquet, crisp white fruit on the palate, no massive intensity but continuing through very nicely. Very well made in a leaner style.
