Description
Jean-Pierre will bottle this cuvée in December, without any filtration so as not to lose any of the wine’s character. It has wonderful focus and concentration of fresh dark fruits. The palate is rich with a nice roundness thanks to the 40% new oak in use. There is a pleasing tension to this wine that is not easily achieved but very impressive nonetheless.

Critics reviews
Here too there is enough wood to bother mentioning framing aromas of wild black raspberry, violet, newly turned earth and a touch of forest floor. There is both good energy and definition to the vibrant middleweight flavours that possess better concentration and power though also more evident rusticity.

40% new wood, planned for a December bottling. Fresh crimson purple. The bouquet seems classy and refined, an elegant dark strawberry with some spice, then a fine mid-intensity on the palate, little berries from degenerate vines. Quietly pleasing.
