We are thrilled to collaborate again with the exceptional Pulenta Estate team on this wonderfully consistent and refreshing Malbec. Located at 980 metres above sea level, Pulenta benefits from a cool climate that imparts a crisp freshness to its wines. Their grape-growing and winemaking practices are effectively organic. Malbec is increasingly celebrated as Argentina's signature grape variety, known for producing deeply coloured, vibrantly fruity wines with fine tannins and lively acidity.
Tasting note
Once again, the brilliant team at Pulenta Estate have crafted this superbly refreshing Malbec for us. Beautifully pure, just-picked raspberries and blackberries dominate the nose. The palate is a wonderful mix of concentrated hedgerow fruit and supreme freshness. Subtle touches of old wood spice add complexity, while a savoury hint lingers on the rewarding, vibrant finish. It is a perfect match for steak, though equally delightful on its own.
