Description
This blend is from five parcels of old vines (40-60 years old) surrounding the domaine in the village of Milly. There is a certain generosity to the fruit on the nose, reflecting the sunny growing season. The palate is surprisingly vinous and serious, with a firm, mineral finish.

Bottled in April. From five plots in Milly, older vines especially in Vieille Voye. A pale colour, while the bouquet is more backward than the Daniel Dampt cuvée, definitely more tension here, and a greater volume of fruit, with less sucrosity behind, and a more impressive structure. A fine long finish in a grassy Chablis style. Fine long aftertaste.

More of a focus on acidity and mineral notes, with some lovely fruit nestling in the background. Not as concentrated as brother Vincent's, but still a very classy effort which will age. Delicate and refined, from the youngest brother in the Dampt clan.
