Description

This parcel was acquired by the Brets’ grandfather and is one of their oldest vineyards (with vines from 40 to 115 years of age). This one-hectare plot is situated in the heart of the village of Vinzelles on deep clay and limestone soils. The nose has delicate aromas of ripe citrus and floral notes. With creamy apricots on the palate, good balance and length, this is perfect to drink young.

There is a whiff of the exotic in the ripe, liqueur-like pear, citrus, and apple aromas. The markedly mineral-driven medium-weight flavours pack a very good punch and conclude in an agreeably dry, clean, and refreshing finish. This is quite good, especially so for its level.
