The 2022 Savigny-lès-Beaune Cuvée Reine Joly, matured in 25% new oak, is a blend of several parcels mainly on the plain in front of the Domaine. It has a lovely bouquet with red cherries, wild strawberries, and hints of marmalade loitering in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red fruit. It is a bit rustic in style but charming in a simplistic way with a briny finish. Drink over the next five or six years.
