Description

This is a superlative expression of the commune, with the many different parcels covering north to south combining brilliantly. A total volume of 16 barrels, two new double barrels were used, and another trialled vinification intégrale: fermenting on skins in the barrel. It delivers a seemingly pure and simple pleasure, but the wine’s substance should not be underestimated.

Full purple, and full of energy, this has flair and poise at the same time. One third whole bunches gives the Vosne-Romanée a sense of lift, and actually the waves of fruit keep coming, more than expected in a village wine.
