Cloudy Bay's 2022 Pinot Noir from Marlborough is supple, round-shouldered and satisfying. With its succulent tannins and gently refreshing acidity, there's an ease to this wine. It is certainly not the most intensely colored nor richly aromatic Pinot Noir, but that's the season for you. It does offer subtle red fruit, a character reminiscent of Chai with a creaminess and distinctive nutmeg aromas, but it's not particularly long. Enjoy from release up to six years.

Enticing aromas of plums, orange peel and strawberries with hints of mushrooms that follow through to a medium body with soft, fine tannins and a fresh finish. Tangy and vivid at the end. Lovely to drink now. Screw cap.
