Tasting note

Arnaud Lambert’s Tue-Loup is a two-hectare single vineyard planted with 35-year-old vines. Around two-thirds of this wine was aged in used oak barrels, the rest in concrete eggs. The sandy limestone soil, particularly in the cool 2021 vintage, has given a beautifully ethereal, perfumed wine with a delicate and airy profile and silky tannins that glide across the palate.

The fruit is crisp and vivid, with an array of summer berries and a refreshing, chalky finish. With this wine, Arnaud has set a new benchmark for finesse and elegance in Loire Cabernet Franc.
