Deep purplish crimson. Sweet, fully ripe fruit obviously kissed by the California sun. Sufficient freshness on the finish – not heavy.

Made by Tony Biagi and from the eastern side of the valley, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Kiatra Reserve has classic Cabernet notes of ripe blue fruits, tobacco, sappy herbs, and violets. These carry to a full-bodied, ripe, plush, straight-up sexy 2021 with terrific mid-palate depth as well as ripe tannins. This hedonistic beauty will shine right out of the gate.
The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Kiatra Estate turned out every bit as magical as I had hoped. Dark, sensual and vibrant, the 2021 is endowed with fabulous depth yet remains light on its feet. Graphite, dried herbs, lavender, menthol and licorice all build in this structured, cool-climate Cabernet Sauvignon from Kia Behnia and Tracy Borman. I can't wait to see how it ages.
