From a 1.5 ha parcel of vines located in Grand Maupertui and two other smaller parcels near the bottom of the slope.

Here too the more reticent nose is cool and airy with subtle spice nuances adding breadth to the earth-suffused red and dark berry scents. There is again fine volume to the delicious and tension-filled middleweight flavours that display very fine length on the balanced, youthfully austere and solidly power finale. This will need to add depth with time in bottle but that should reasonably occur if given time.
