The usual blend of Baudes, Groseilles, Gruenchers and Noirots, Bertheau's 2021 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru bursts with aromas of raspberries, pomegranate, plums and petals. Medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, with melting tannins and a bright, enveloping core of fruit, it encapsulates the domaine's pure, pretty style.

A blend of Groseilles, Baudes, Noirots and Gruenchers.

This is also aromatically quite pretty with its array of mostly red berry fruit, in particular cherry, along with airy floral and anise wisps. The supple and rounded flavours possess a bit more volume while delivering fine depth and persistence. Note that this is quite easy-going and a wine that should be approachable young.
