Delicate quite a contrast to the Gevrey Vieilles Vignes) and already approachable and, apparently, fully formed. Lots of energy as well as fruit. Long. It's such a contrast to the very ripe vintages but not at all lean!

From Pas de Chat, Les Athets and Les Fouchères.

A discreet application of wood frames with cool and pretty aromas of red and dark currant, plum, and crushed fennel. The lighter-weight flavour exudes terrific energy and evident minerality on the linear, complex, and balanced finish, which is also youthfully austere. This is very Chambollesque in style and worth considering.
