Jasper Morris MW 88-90/100
Compared to the Volnay, Romaric Chavy’s Pommard is noticeably deeper in colour. Darker fruit on the nose but less expressive. Juicy raspberry notes. Opens out very well, the effect of older vines, ripe strawberries at the back with higher acidity, perhaps a fraction more volatile, but well within bounds. Drink from 2026-2031.
