Description
While the yield for this wine was down, Benjamin Leroux extended his supply base in this vineyard to produce a normal volume. This wine has a tighter structure than in recent years, but Ben has opted not to use any new oak. There is a lovely creaminess to the mid-palate that matches the wine’s lively, red-berry fruitiness.

Critics reviews
It just finished its malolactic fermentation last week. Despite that, there is a lovely perfume to this 2021 Haut Jarrons, pure and clean. Pure raspberry on the palate, then coolness, and a touch of fresh oak to finish. It's still finding its way but with promise.
Drink 2025 - 2030
A fresh and bright nose combines notes of newly turned earth with a range of red berry and floral scents. I very much like the energy and texture of the medium-weight flavours that exude a subtle bead of minerality on the youthfully austere and sneaky long finale.
