Description

Benjamin Leroux owns 1.5 of the 2.2 hectares in which Chardonnay was planted for this vintage. Benjamin opted not to make his Cuvée LX this year, which is usually crafted from his 90-year-old vines; this year, fruit from these vines is in this blend instead. These old vines add some lovely weight, while the zingy minerality is toned down due to a lower level of malic acid than in previous years. This is a fine, linear Meursault, with notes of white plum and mint.
