A decidedly cool and restrained nose reluctantly exhibits its aromas of freshly crushed red berries, anise and lilac. The plump but agreeably punchy middleweight flavours display a more subtle bead of minerality that seems to become more prominent on the clean, moderately austere and equally chiselled finale. Lovely and understated in style.

Pretty fresh crimson. Half whole bunch vinification though the nose shows it in a crushed strawberry fashion, while retaining absolute freshness. A pretty rather than a weighty Nuits-St-Georges. Rich ripe cherries in the middle of the palate, some spice and pepper behind, a good long finish.
