Description
Domaine Sérafin Père & Fils has two plots in this well-regarded Premier Cru: one with 60-year-old vines, the other closer to 40 years old. This is usually an early-ripening site, but the delayed harvest has added an appealing cool blueberry note, and the texture is perhaps a little more graceful than it was in recent years.

Bright crimson purple with a light reduction. This is discreet after the Cazetiers, but quite fine. Not so much body so the wood tannins make it a little drier for the moment. But it will come together and the fruit is stylish.
