Description
Normally a blend from 75% of generic fruit from Meursault and 25% in Puligny, but the Meursault vines suffered much more from the frost, so this year the percentages are reversed. The result is a wine leaning much more towards the spicy gunflint style of Puligny. The wine is admirably correct, with well-delineated refreshing lines, and a commendable density on the finish.

Critics reviews
The 2021 Bourgogne Blanc, which comes mostly from Puligny instead of Meursault this year, has a pleasant white peach and slightly creamy bouquet. The palate still has a bit of gas, but there is a fine line of acidity, even if it does lack a bit of complexity on the finish.
Drink 2023 - 2026
This cuvée should be 60/40 Meursault side but was in fact 75/25 Puligny side this year. Racked from barrel early August. Mid lemon colour, softly grapey. Quite ripe aromatics. A slight sucrosity on the palate then a little tension to finish.
Drink 2024 - 2026
The Bouzereau holdings have grown to fully 4 ha and the vines are located in both Meursault and Puligny.
Cool and restrained if pretty aromas include those of petrol, lemon zest and a touch of crushed fennel character. The succulent, delicious and appealingly textured middleweight flavours possess a refreshing and agreeably dry finale that is more solidly persistent. This offers better-than-average quality for the appellation and is worth a look.
