Description
The 2021 Savigny-lès-Beaune, Vieilles Vignes is made from 50- to 85-year-old vines, giving sweet and gravelly tannins, generous fruit and a spicy, floral undertone. The Carrés protected the vineyard with candles to raise the temperature and ward off the frost. As a result, there is a decent-sized crop of this excellent Savigny which will offer delicious short- and medium-term drinking. Drink 2023-2028.
