Description

This is a blend from two vineyards: Les Saunières, which lies immediately to the south of the town on richer clay; and Les Bras, a much higher vineyard with more limestone. This is wine without pretence, an honest drop. It has straight lines and a frank, positive finish. Just 15% of a normal crop was made.

A clear fresh crimson. Pretty fruit on the nose, a pure refreshing pinot. A little touch peppery at the back, but those who want a pinot from the past, this will work well. A touch of orange rind in the light red cherry fruit.
