Our 2021 Pomerol blends 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc from younger vines at Château Feytit-Clinet. The nose is plush and expressive, its bright raspberry-leaf aromas sweetened by black cherries and cedar spice notes. The palate brings smooth, mouth-coating layers of damsons and blackcurrants enriched with dark chocolate and soft, velvety tannins. This is textbook Pomerol. A mouth-watering burst of redcurrant acidity reminds us of this vintage's fresher, earlier-drinking style—a moreish, elegant and delightfully versatile wine.

If the topography and architecture of Pomerol are typical, the style of its wines is anything but. The best vineyards are planted on a seam of rich clay extending across the raised plateau of Pomerol from the boundary of St Emilion.
