Critics reviews
The name of the climat is used only for the American market, but it's the same wine sold in other markets around the world.
A relatively deeply coloured hue, at least for 2021, is consistent with the fresh and earthy dark berry scents. The rich and solidly dense middleweight flavours possess good, if not special, depth on the moderately rustic and youthfully austere finish that is sufficiently firm to repay a few years of keeping.

About this wine
Bourgogne
In the Burgundy hierarchy, “Bourgogne” denotes the entry level of the classification system. This is a so-called “regional” appellation, theoretically covering the entire vineyard area of Burgundy. This is distinct from the more geographically precise village-level, Premier Cru and Grand Cru designations. The two most common Bourgogne-level wines are Bourgogne Blanc (“White Burgundy”) and Bourgogne Rouge (“Red Burgundy”).
