Description

Incredibly dense and just oozing with papaya, this is so luscious and tropical that some may find it overwhelming, but it has a very compact structure and a laser beam of acidity that keeps it bright. There are tons of caramelised nut characters at the massive finish. Very limited production. This is the first ice wine from this producer since 2015! It is made from organically grown grapes with Fair'n Green certification.

Picked on November 30, the 2020 Oberhäuser Brücke Riesling Eiswein offers a concentrated yet fresh bouquet of very fine raisins, candied citrus fruit and crushed stones. Round and filigreed on the palate, this is a concentrated, sweet, piquant, and crystalline ice wine with a fascinating, refined and concentrated, almost endless, highly finessed, and salty finish. Due to its clarity, finesse, and elegance, the wine's concentration and sweetness are really floating. It is very long and intense. A gorgeous Brücke again.
