From a tiny .20 ha parcel of 100 year old vines.

Fresh, ripe and beautifully layered aromas of dark berries are laced with ample amounts of newly turned earth and that pungent forest floor character. The old vines are very much in evidence of the wonderfully textured broad-shouldered flavours that coat the palate with sappy dry extract while terminating in a dense, powerful and very serious finale. Given a decade or so to develop, this is potentially outstanding.
