Opaque. An exuberantly spicy and very Vosne-like nose speaks of purple fruit, exotic tea, and a whiff of star anise. There is an attractive sense of verve and freshness to the velvety and delicious medium-bodied flavours that coat the palate with sappy dry extract, imparting a lovely texture to the dusty, serious, and well-balanced finale. Very fine quality in a built-to-age package.
