Description

Despite its colourful label, the 2020 M. Gringet is a more serious expression of 100% Gringet than its counterpart, Eponyme. The fruit for this wine comes from three of the top parcels of the domaine, including the revered Le Feu. The nose displays a touch of reductive toast but it is still stoney-mineral fresh, bringing a sense of purity to yellow apple and fine, bitter lemon notes. The palate is intense and textural with deep notes of riper apple and pear with green herbal touches of tarragon and wild oregano. A gorgeous salinity refreshes the tastebuds and merges the components together on the impressive, long and completely poised finish.
