Description
Larger 300-litre barrels are preferred for this wine, now accounting for 60% of the crop. This is an important cuvée, about one-third of the domaine’s overall production. It comes from one parcel in Puligny and three in Meursault. The bouquet entices with a citrus lift and the wine, one of the best of its type, is very appealing.

Critics reviews
Racked at the beginning of August, the 2020 Bourgogne Blanc is 50% raised in demi-muids. It has an expressive, quite endearing nose with tropical tones, touches of orange pith, and passion fruit. The palate is well balanced with wild peach and light tangerine notes, fine acidity, and maybe just a little warmth towards the finish. Therefore, I would broach this over the next 2-3 years.
Drink 2022 - 2025
Racked in August for bottling before the end of the year, this wine is clean, clear, and pure lemon in colour. It is tight and almost lean, but then a wave of riper fruit comes through. There is flesh on the bones and good acidity, with a light touch of Mirabelle fruit.
The Bouzereau holdings have grown to fully 4 ha and the vines are located in both Meursault and Puligny.
Citrusy top notes are present on the ripe and fresh aromas of mostly pear and apple. The sleek, vibrant and utterly delicious middle weight flavors possess solid depth and persistence for its level. This would make a fine choice for an all-around house white.
