Description

This has an intense red cherry coulis nose, brimming with cherry chocolate, exotic Persian spice and a lift of fresh garden sage. The palate is incredible, with hugely concentrated flavours of cherries and macerated raspberries which smother the senses. The dense, fine, chalky tannins resolve seamlessly and become liquid-smooth. This is a beautiful expression of incredible, ancient vines.

A fine fragrance; tea leaves, plum and floral flourishes. A fine palate too, showing exceptional tannic finesse, expressive fruit, and lovely acidity. Well balanced, elegant and drinkable. Not overly concentrated or full-bodied, this shows great energy and vibrancy. Very old-vine pure Grenache, fermented in concrete, aged in foudres.
