Description

As the name indicates, this is from a stony site. It also has limestone, which provides a chalky freshness. The nose is pretty, the focus firmly on small red-berry fruit and some lifted floral aromatics. The palate is juicy, with a touch more generosity than in cooler years. The finish is carried along by a line of freshness.
