Description
The 2019 Nuits-Saint-Georges Village is pretty and delicate, unwinding in the glass with aromas of raspberries, orange rind, cinnamon, potpourri and woodsmoke. Medium to full-bodied, supple and layered, it's seamless and refined, with melting tannins, lively acids and a long, perfumed finish.

From Les Lavières, Bas de Combe, Aux Tuyaux, Aux St. Jacques and Les Brûlées.
A markedly earthy nose combines notes of fresh red berries with those of underbrush and the sauvage. There is fine density to the vibrant, intense and attractively textured medium-bodied flavours that flash almost no austerity on the moderately firm and sneaky long finale. This is also very good though note well that at least some patience will be required.

Noble purple in colour, with a fresh, deep pinot bouquet, supple on the palate, some oak, smooth and supple. My only query would be to what extent I can see the character of Nuits-St-Georges? Maybe, if these are Vosne side vineyards – which they are.
The 2019 Nuits Saint-Georges Village has a beautifully defined bouquet with red cherries, raspberry, and light briary scents and wonderful mineralité. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins, very focused and smooth, with great transparency here and a touch of piquancy on the finish. This is a sublime Village Cru.
