Description

As ever, there was a high proportion of millerandage among the 60-year-old vines in this relatively cool vineyard. The result is a concentrated, powerful wine with a heady bouquet; there’s impressive weight of ripe fruit, and extremely fine tannins. Drink 2024-2030.

Jasper Morris MW 92-95/100
Grown at the northern end of the vineyard, some whole bunches included. Pale pink purple, then a very elegant nose, lovely cherries with a slight raspberry overlay, perfumed and gracious. Really gorgeous and beautifully balanced. The soil analysis says there is the least limestone of the Buffet vineyards here, the taste says otherwise.
