This is a single-vineyard wine from Sleeping Lady vineyard, made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon all clone 22). Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2018 Anjea offers up pronounced blueberry pie, Black Forest cake and black currant pastilles notes with touches of tar, new leather, underbrush and fragrant soil. The medium to full-bodied palate is solidly constructed with firm, ripe, grainy tannins and very bright and energetic black fruit layers, finishing long and mineral laced. 164 cases were made. Drink 2023-20.
