Tasting note

From the ancient, poor soils of Nyetimber’s Tillington single vineyard, this is always a terroir-focused wine. The 2016 is certainly that with the wine’s signature textural, mineral bite, and Pinot-led accents of red berry fruit.

The wine opens with vibrant aromas of crushed raspberry, citrus and sweet botanical tones. The palate is energetic and so finely textured, unfolding layers of tarte au pomme, expressed orange peel and almond biscuit.
