Critics reviews

Jancis Robinson MW 17/5+/20
Just a slight hint of sweet oak and heady, floral aromas. Very fresh and lively with real lift. Verily a charmer! Peacock’s tail. A satisfying wine. Builds to something really quite emphatic on the end. Drink 2023-2036.

About this wine

Charmes-Chambertin

Charmes-Chambertin

Charmes-Chambertin is one of the most famous Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy, and is also the name of the associated AOC of the wines produced from it. Pinot Noir is by far and away the primary grape grown in Charmes, although as with other Burgundy AOC regulations the wines are permitted up to 15 percent Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc or Pinot Gris as auxiliary grapes.
