Much more autolytic and bready and toasty than their 2010, with a fuller body and a long, spiced apple character with bright, zippy acidity cleaning up the finish. More complex and chewy, satisfying, and shows the full complexity of great English fizz and the typically excellent balance of Gusbourne.

These estates specialise in English sparkling wine made using the so-called traditional method, best known for its use in making Champagne.
