Description

Another superb bottling from a distillery ploughing a rich furrow of form, this third iteration in the Cellar Aged series crystalises, for me, the benefits of slow, cool maturation.

Toffee apple, sweet oak and hints of muscovado-laden BBQ fill the nose and expand on the palate to charred pineapple, cocktail cherries and fresh, still-warm honeycomb. A finish of liquorice, toasted marshmallows, dark-chocolate-dipped cherries and coffee gives endless reason to return for another sip.
