Tasting note

Tasted blind, this is a delectable example of rye, with the assured hand of a master maker on the tiller. Sweetly spiced buns, cinnamon balls and vivid red liquorice laces are all at play here, with an astute sideline of leafy cereal and peach skin providing both balance and intrigue. There’s chewy, warmed malt loaf on the palate, spread thickly with homemade brandy butter, dripping salt crystals and plump raisins. The finish is nigh-on irresistible!
