Description

The latest in Glenfiddich’s Grand Series Limited Edition Collection, this is a couple of years older than the previous release. Matured in European and American oak, this has been finished for nine years in fine Bordeaux wine casks. Floral elegance and red jazz apple notes tease the nose, with rich indulgent spices, and toasted texture in the mid-palate. Earthy, nutty complexity with a very pretty superbly balanced finish.

Delightful red and dark fruits, opening with aromas of vanilla, cacao, toasted hazelnut, dried red berries, and cranberry, leading to blueberry, chocolate, nutmeg, and a hint of leather. A fine balance between the finishing cask and the Glenfiddich character, this has flavours of baked apple, Bramley apple peels, peppery spices, baked plum, and morello cherries, showing summer red berries as it dilutes, leaving residual spices on the finish.
