Description
A marriage of grain and malt casks sourced from around the world (including of course his own Japanese malt from Chichibu), Ichiro Akuto offers up a limited edition whisky full of ginger, beeswax, pumpkins and pastry. This whisky is a painting in dark oranges, browns and creams with mashed banana dripped in sweet manuka honey oozing on the palate. Whilst extremely chewy and delicious, the whisky is not without its excellent savoury moments, which settle on sandalwood and nutmeg.
