Description

Glenallachie, since 2017 under the stewardship of Billy Walker, is becoming known for richly-fruited Speyside malt whisky, with depth and complexity aplenty. As usual, this cask-strength bottling has been drawn from a variety of different casks. The palate shows dried fruits aplenty, particularly berries, alongside toasted kitchen-cupboard spices. A full-bodied dram and an utter delight with a splash of cool water to open things up.
