Description

This is another fascinating, single-farm bottling in Waterford's ceaseless quest to explore terroir in whisky. Named after pioneering plant breeder Dr Herbert Hunter, this single malt began with just one bag of Hunter barley. Cultivated over several years, it resulted in a harvest filling 50 barrels. Lemon sherbet, sea salt and hay appear on the nose, with savoury spice and Jaffa Cake on the palate. The finish is long, spicy and ever so satisfying.
