Glenallachie, 10-Year-Old, Cask Strength, Batch 8, Speyside, Single Malt Scotch Whisky (57.2%)
- 57.2% alcohol
- Scotch Whisky
Description
The Glenallachie 10-year old Cask Strength Batch 8 has a dense nose packed with caramel, heather and orange blossom combined with apple, fig and vanilla. Adding a few drops of water releases yeasty Sherry notes, showcasing the combination of casks (Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso, Rioja and Virgin Oak) selected by Master Distiller Billy Walker. The mouthfilling texture holds the warming 57.2% abv well and the flavours continue on the palate with raisin and nutmeg lingering on the finish.
