What a privilege to have a dram of this beauty at quite possibly the best Bowmore tasting & dinner in our wonderful Townhouse I’ll attend, for a while at least.

Hosted by the inestimable David Miles in our fabulous Townhouse, a lucky few guests enjoyed this alongside the 22yo 30yo and the 52yo ARC.

I thought the 30yo was good, this turns up the dial to 11, butterscotch and wet rope more prevalent on the nose but a deep intensity of fig and dense forest fruit, with the reassuring backdrop of the salty wet rope and ingrained peat that typifies the very best, well-aged Bowmore.
