Description
MacNair's Rums are a fascinating 'side quest' from legendary whisky maker Billy Walker, owner of Glenallachie. This rum was distilled in Jamaica and spent two and a half years in a variety of new and reused French and American oak casks. Those casks were vatted together and the spirit then underwent a final period of slumber in barrels that had previous matured peated Glenallachie. The result is flavours of smoked pineapples, caramelised bananas, peat and funk in happy confluence.
