Peg Leg Porker Distillery was founded in Nashville, Tennessee, by barbecue pitmaster Carey Bringle. Here, he combines his passion for barbecue with his love of bourbon, producing small-batch whiskies with a distinctive smoky character. The team uses a unique filtering process that involves passing their bourbons through hickory charcoal, creating distinctive and delicious smoke flavours. These are subtle yet evident in the 8-year-old, balanced with sweet caramel, pickle brine and buttered popcorn.
