Description

White Peak Distillery is Derbyshire’s first full-scale craft distillery, with a proud focus on their Derbyshire heritage. To create Wire Works Whisky, they use local brewer’s yeast and an uncommonly long fermentation for a distinctive new make spirit with character before it goes into a cask.

The nose leads with caramel popcorn, rich butterscotch, and warming cloves, underpinned by ripe bananas, crisp apple, and a vanilla sponge. On the palate, a blend of chocolate orange and delicate Victoria sponge takes centre stage, elegantly intertwined with liquorice and aromatic cinnamon. Bright notes of pink grapefruit and crème brûlée bring a lavish, indulgent finish to this exquisite expression.
